A Medical Technician is an allied health professional that plays a vital role in patient care. MTs are primarily responsible for the collection of laboratory specimens and their preparation for exams. They may also be involved in the coordination and transport of patients, and assist with administrative duties at clinics, hospitals and at other clinical settings.
